HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This year for Thanksgiving we went with Lance's family to Buhl. I love going to Buhl it is never the same thing. This year instead of cooking all day and doing dishes we went to the Golden Corral where the kids could get whatever they wanted to and fill up on ice cream, which they loved. After eating Thanksgiving lunch we went and took family pictures.

When we were taking pictures over by the Prine bridge in Twin Falls we saw some base jumpers. They were from Wales, England. There were five of them jumping that day. Lance took this picture because his dad thought it was funny that I was talking to them (he thinks I am coming out of my shell). I just thought they were all crazy and I told my kids never to do this!

JUST FOR FUN

Alyssa has never been able to get out of her carseat by herself, but the other day she was able to undo the seatbelt all by herself. She told me, "Mom, I used my man hands to get it undone." It was the funniest thing she has ever told me. That same day her seatbelt was stuck and she couldn't get out and she said that her man hands were gone. For those who watch Seinfeld, the episode with the "man hands", you will know why Lance and I laugh at it every time she says it!

ALYSSA'S CREATION

Alyssa loves to do hair. She wanted to do Daddy's hair and take pictures of him so she could put them on her "log" that is what she calls our blog. She kept telling him that he looked like a cow, I have no idea why. Lance is so good to just sit there and let Lysa do his hair, what a good Daddy.

Some of my friends and I went to Johnny Carino's for lunch and then to the Twilight movie. We loved the movie! I sat by my friend Nita and she was hilarious, she was either crying or making me laugh hysterically! We had such a great time and we are so excited for them to start making the second movie.

LANCE'S LATEST HUNTING TRIP

Brent did cartwheels of the trail! His horse,"Rodeo Rosie", bucked him off and luckily they had a nurse, Joel, on site to fix the head wounds and lots of ibuprofen. The trails were pretty steep but he still managed to hike out 16 miles with his walking staff, no more horses for Brent! Brent has decided to become a temple worker after this trip. (For all of you who are wondering, No they didn't get anything!)

BASKETBALL TIME

We love watching the boys play basketball, they are so good and fun to cheer for! Mace and Tay play on the same team which is so nice, 1 game and 1 practice a week. This is from their first game where it was down to the last five seconds and Taylor had the ball and dribbled down and made a basket at the buzzer! Their whole team was cheering and screaming. Taylor was pretty proud.

Mason amazes me with dribbling, he can dribble with both hands but is a little better with his left hand (he gets his basketball skills from his dad). He can dribble so well, that is one thing I could never do. Taylor is very aggressive and just goes straight to the basket for the shot and it doesn't matter who is in his way. Way to go boys!

HANGIN' WITH THE RUSSELL'S

My friend Katie got to go on a FUN trip and we got to watch her kids for a while, which we loved! We were dancing and Ethan wanted to join in on the fun. He was so funny jumping around and trying to do what the other girls were doing! Sorry Doug but Ethan looked so cute I had to take his picture!

SHARKEY'S HOT SPRINGS

On the way home from Salmon after a long weekend of trick or treating we stopped at Sharkey's Hot Springs for a little down time.

This is one of the kids favorite places to go. It is high up in the mountains of Salmon and is a natural hot spring.


There was no way we were getting out of Salmon without stopping here!

This is at Sharkey's the night before around midnight when Lance and I snuck away without the kids. We weren't the only ones there though, we had a lot of funny drunk people hanging out with us. We should have taken pictures of them, but we were afraid of what we would see!

TRICK OR TREAT

Alyssa was a barbie ghost, Taylor a pirate and Mason a hawaiian girl. Mason was too pretty when I put the make up on him, especially the mascara on his long eyelashes (which I have wanted to do for years now!) We went to Salmon and hung out with the cousins and went trick or treating up and down main street to all of the businesses. They had a lot of fun and wore them out at the same time!Alyssa and Leah, what cute girls.

Paige was a 80's dancer. It was also her birthday. Happy 12th Birthday Paige!!

We could barely keep up with the kids! Trick or treating started at 3:00 so it was still light and we got done around 5:00.

PICKING APPLES

The kids went to stay at Grandma and Grandpa Cannon's house last weekend and they played in the trees all weekend long, picking apples! Grandpa said that he couldn't get the boys out of the trees. Weekends like this are what the kids are going to remember forever.
